Overview

The New York Care Coordination Program (NYCCP) provides numerous opportunities for administrators, providers, people receiving services and their families and friends, and communities in our seven counties to learn about and become more involved in mental health recovery through a person-centered approach to mental health care.

The Foundations of Person-Centeredness Training is coordinated through the individual counties. Information on when these training sessions will be offered can be obtained by contacting the representative for your county.

Person-Centered Planning Recognized as Emerging "Best Practice" by SAMHSA The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) held a consensus group to address person/family centered planning (i.e. adults, children, and families).
